Our vision came about when customers kept asking for something bespoke for their homes that was
not available in the larger retail stores or that didn’t need to be ordered through an interior decorator.
This is where Sewing Room was born. Through us you are able to choose your various fabrics, your item,
your size and with a click of a button order something really beautiful and unique for your home.
We offer a unique online experience whereby the customer can
become their own interior decorator. Everything on the website is
customisable from the fabric to the size to the finish.
Our vision in 2014 came about when customers kept asking for
something bespoke for their homes that was not available in larger
retail stores. The business has grown from scatters to soft furnishings
and more.
With a collective 18 years experience in retail, marketing and interior design – we are a formidable team.
We are also able to offer personal advice on what scatters you should
choose for your home as we know the choice can sometimes be a little
overwhelming. All you need to do is send us a picture of the space to
enquiries@sewingroom.co.za and we will happily send you some
advice.
With lovingly sourced fabrics from some of the top fabric suppliers in
the country, our aim is to keep our collections on trend so that they can
be enjoyed seasonally and throughout the year.
Our team is family and our dedicated seamstresses take every care and
the utmost pride in every detail that goes into each customised order.
